For the first time in the area, a neurotologist and a neurosurgeon have teamed up to treat Semicircular Canal Dehiscence Syndrome – a rare condition as a result of the thinning of the temporal bone located at the base of the skull just above the ear. Wayne Robbins, D.O. and Syed Karim, M.D. performed the successful surgery at McLaren Regional Medical Center.
