About Your Surgery

Surgery can often be an overwhelming decision to make, not only in regards to your health but financially as well. We strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible in all aspects of surgery scheduling.

When you sit down to discuss surgery, we will help you:

  • Schedule your procedure at a time that is convenient for your and our doctor
  • Plan financially for any costs you might incur by discussing your insurance benefits, out of pocket costs and any additional charges you can expect to incur based on the procedure you have done
  • Understand what to expect before, during and after surgery
  • Schedule a Pre-Op appointment (if necessary) as well as a Post-Op appointment
  • About Your Surgery

The time of your surgery may vary and you will be notified by the hospital/surgery center in advance to confirm the time you need to arrive – usually they will call the day before your surgery. Typically, younger patients are scheduled to go first. If you need to cancel or postpone your surgery for any reason, we ask that you call our office at least 72 hours in advance of your surgery date to avoid a cancellation fee of $50.

If you have an insurance deductible to meet, please be prepared to pay this when you schedule surgery. This payment is expected at that time.

You can contact Shaleen, our Surgery Scheduler, at (810) 694-1962 with any questions!
